This school year my students are going to administer thier own spelling pre and post tests. I will be creating slideshow movies stating the word, using it in a sentence and having a slide that corresponds with the word and/or sentence to give it context. I will be locating all of the information here. This will be my Mon/Fri spelling center during flex.
I would love for you to use this with your students. It will give you two extra days to teach reading skills, as well as get your students to start managing their own learning. If you have time, maybe you could help out by creating your own video/slideshow. I will be using the spelling lessons from our reading series, in order so that they scaffold and build as they are meant to.
